Our heritage

Protecting Zimbabwe’s Forests Since 1954.

For more than seven decades, the Forestry Commission has stood at the forefront of forest conservation.

Established through the Forest Act, the Commission is a parastatal under the Ministry of Environment, Climate and Wildlife. We work with communities, government and partners to protect biodiversity, support commercial forestry and build climate resilience.
